Seattle Events to Ring In the New Year

Because popping bubbles in your pajamas doesn't have quite the same glam factor.

You might have forgotten some auld acquaintance but forgetting to make plans for New Year’s Eve isn’t an option. Whether you want a tamer night filled with music and food so you can be in good shape to attend the Winter Classic on January 1, a raucous party to dance the night away, or something in-between, there's a perfect night for everyone. We'll keep this list updated as more events roll in.


NYE with Bosco

queer/bar, 7PM | $40–60 

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Bosco takes the stage for a performance at nine along with many other queens from the bar’s cast. Then the dance party begins with DJ Baby Van Beezly playing music all night. 

A New Year's Eve Party with LowDown Brass Band

The Triple Door, 7pm and 10pm | $95–130

The best of New Orleans music by way of Chicago holds down the stage for two shows at the Triple Door with big horn sounds and deep grooves. There's a 7pm dinner package, and a 10pm countdown version to ring in the new year. 

True Loves with Eléré

High Dive, 8pm | $40

Seattle's funkiest local band will have you dancing your way into 2024 or at least vibing to guitar solos from the otherworldly Jimmy James.  Tickets are GA only. 

NYE with Cut Chemist 

Nectar Lounge, 8pm | $33

Legendary DJ Cut Chemist, formerly of Ozomatli and Jurassic 5 fame will have the crowd at Nectar Lounge on its feet, and of course, listening to the music

New Year's at the Needle

Seattle Center, 8pm

This year's Space Needle fireworks show also includes 500 drones (we are, after all, living in the future), the whole thing set to music from Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Modest Mouse, and more.  

New Year’s Eve with Kenny G

Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, 8:45pm and 11pm | $151–260

Playing out the year with his saxophone is Seattle’s most indicative musician, Kenny G. The event features four different ticket packages, some with dinner included, to experience jazz while heralding the new year. 

Together As One 

Tacoma Dome, 6pm | $144

The biggest New Year's dance party in the PNW is happening underneath the wooden beams of the Tacoma Dome. Chainsmokers play on the 30th, followed by headliners Tiësto, Alison Wonderland, and Above & Beyond on the 31st. 

Bollywood New Year's Party

El Corazon, 7:30pm | $30–35

No, Seattle's longtime punk venue is not hosting a hardcore band or a ska-themed New Year's Party. Instead, it's going big on Bollywood with DJ Prashant bringing tracks from India and his own Afrobeat and Reggaeton remixes. Plus special guests. 

New Year’s Eve Concert, Countdown, and Party

Benaroya Hall, 9pm | $58–156

Close out 2023 with the joyous and uplifting sounds of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and the show-stopping "Ode to Joy." Post-concert, sip Champagne and dance in the grand lobby. 

Heart

Climate PleDge Arena, 9pm | $60

Ring in the new year with a legendary Seattle band in an iconic Seattle venue. Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening opens, and the night is capped off with the Space Needle’s firework spectacular. 

Filthy New Year's Jam with Ayron Jones

Showbox, 9pm | $30

Seattle guitarist Ayron Jones headlines a rock 'n' roll New Year's Eve at the Showbox with a pair of other local bands in King Youngblood and Asterhouse. 

NYE at Cuff Complex

Cuff Complex, 7PM | $50

One of the oldest LGBTQ+ clubs in Seattle says goodbye to 2023 with Horse Meat Disco, Julie Herrera, and more on two dance floors.
