These restaurants want to serve you a prix fixe menu. And probably some champagne.

Valentine’s Day falls on a Wednesday this year—plenty of restaurants will be open and happy to serve you their regular menus. The spots listed here have special dinners planned—from tasting menus to covered and heated patios, even takeout meals for two.

General Harvest Restaurants

Madrona, Phinney Ridge, West Seattle

Chef Brian Clevenger has special three-course menus available at Vendemmia, Raccolto, Haymaker, and Autumn. Each one comes with several options for starters and entrees, plus options for supplements.

Oola

Capitol Hill

The distillery turned bottle shop, bar, and restaurant will serve a five-course, share plate menu from chef Elizabeth Blackner. Tickets are $115 and yes, drink pairings are available.

Conversation

Downtown

The restaurant at the Thompson Hotel will serve a $95 menu that includes three courses, plus desert and an amuse. Reserve here.

Mamnoon, Hanoon, Mbar

Capitol Hill, Kirkland, South Lake Union

Tasting menus! Drink specials! A la carte options! This trio of Levantine restaurants has all sorts of Valentine’s Day plans happening February 9–14.

Lark

Capitol Hill

John Sundstrom’s five-course menu is its own valentine to Northwest ingredients; the $180 dinner has multiple options for each course, and options for caviar, foie gras, or A5 Wagyu supplements.

Mezzanotte

Georgetown

Rilassamento e romanza—aka relaxation and romance—is the order of the day for this $150, five-course dinner; diners can choose from two different Italian menus. Mezzanotte will serve these in the dining room, on its (covered) patio, and at the chef’s counter.

Ba Sa

Bainbridge Island

Trinh and Thai Nguyen’s recent visit to Hội An inspired a special menu of three savory courses, followed by three desserts that benefit from Trinh’s recent pastry training in Paris. The $150 dinner also has options for cocktail and wine pairings. Reserve here.

Elliott's Oyster House

Downtown/Waterfront

King salmon and rib eye star in a Valentine’s Day three-course menu that’s $89 per person. It’s available for lunch or dinner, February 9–18.

The Corson Building

Georgetown

It’s hard to beat this converted cottage for a romantic setting. Even more so when you factor in the $135 five-course menu. Consume it in the dining room or on the covered, heated, and “mostly enclosed” patio.

Spice Waala

Ballard, Capitol Hill

If takeout is more your jam, this casual Indian spot will put together a $45 Valentine’s menu for pickup: a spicy scotch egg, lamb shank in tomato and onion sauce, methi aloo, spiced carrots, rice, and a pistachio, rose, and cardamom tiramisu.

Seabird

Bainbridge Island

A three-tier, two-person seafood tower. Perhaps also with a whole roast duck. And mignardises. Brendan McGill’s destination seafood restaurant will offer two tiers of date-night dining on February 14, not to mention champagne and wine pairings.

Copperleaf Restaurant and Bar

SeaTac

The restaurant at Cedarbrook Lodge taps into the season with a four-course menu full of choices like dungeness crab latkes, beef tenderloin, and salmon tournedos in lobster sauce. Reserve the $115 dinner here.

Meesha

Fremont

A five-course modern Indian meal happens on February 14. The $110 menu has vegetarian and non-veg options, a palate-cleanser course of pomegranate and rose popsicles, and a $45 wine-pairing option. You can reserve indoors or on the patio.

Spinasse

Capitol Hill

On February 14, the Piedmontese restaurant turns its private dining room into a haven of bubbles, oysters, and caviar. Wine director Noa Emas will taste attendees through four types of bubbles, each one paired with a bite. Tickets are $50 each.

The Metropolitan Grill

Downtown

From February 9–18, love means filet mignon with lobster tail. A special Valentine’s menu follows steak with nine-layer chocolate cake. The two-person meal is $240 and includes a choice of wine pairings.

Eden Hill

Queen Anne

Maximillian Petty’s original restaurant will unspool seven detail-oriented courses for its special $195 tasting menu. You can reserve seats in the dining room, at the chef’s counter, and outdoors (wherever you’re seated, dress appropriately for a room where the door will open and close repeatedly to serve folks on the patio).

Kricket Club

Ravenna

A five-course Valentine’s meal draws from food traditions around India—and throws in an amuse-bouche and palate-cleanser course along the way. The $110 menu has an option for $45 wine pairings, too.

Le Coin

Fremont

Fremont’s neighborly bistro will serve four courses of French tradition and Northwest ingredients for $95, from Sunday, February 11 through Wednesday the 14th. The kitchen accommodates dietary restrictions, and you can book dinner indoors or on the covered front patio.

Ethan Stowell Restaurants

Various

Destinations from Staple and Fancy in Ballard to Red Cow in Madrona will run special prix fixe menus (or, in the case of newcomer Bombo Italian Kitchen, some Valentine specials). Some start as early as February 9, others run through the 17th. Here’s the full ESR Valentine’s Day roster.
